  • These terms and conditions are to be read in combination with our delivery/returns and privacy policy.
  • ‘Your Stylish Home’ (“we”, ”our”, ”us”)
  • Customer/visitor (“you”, “your”).
  • We at ‘Your Stylish Home’ want your experience of shopping with us to be painless and pleasurable and we are dedicated to your total satisfaction. If you see a way in which we could improve our service please e-mail us via the address in the contact us page.
  • By using or accessing our website and/or placing any order(s), you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions then you may not use or access our website or place orders.
  •  Electronic Communications - You agree to receive communications from us electronically (via e-mail). You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications we provide to you electronically satisfy any and all legal requirements that such communications be in writing.

ONLY THE ITEM OF FURNITURE IS FOR SALE AT THE PRICE INDICATED. MANY ITEM PICTURES ARE “DRESSED” TO INDICATE WHAT THE ITEM COULD LOOK LIKE IN A HOME AND THE LAMP SHADES, PICTURES, COMPUTER MONITORS ETC ETC ARE NOT INCLUDED.

 

  • Making a purchase could not be easier, simply browse our website to find the item(s) that fit(s) your need. Save your choice when you have decided on your purchase(s) by clicking the ‘Add To Cart’ tab. The items are now added to your shopping cart. When you are ready to make your purchase, click the “checkout” tab on the shopping cart. Select the quantity you require.
  • Prices are inclusive of VAT (at the prevailing rate) and inclusive of delivery. We will not be bound to honour any indicated prices, where subsequently the prices displayed have been displayed in error. In these cases, should you want to cancel your order an immediate refund will be offered. The refund will be to the account through which you made your purchase.
  • We are entitled to refuse any order placed by you. An immediately refund will be made to the account through which you made your purchase.
  • Acceptance of your order will take place after stock availability, validation of products descriptions and prices and verification of payment details has been made. Goods are offered for sale on this site subject to availability. While every effort is made to update stock levels on a daily basis, during sales, some items may sell out before the website is updated. If this occurs we will contact you ASAP, instruct you as to when delivery will likely take place. If you do not want to wait then we will of course give you the option to cancel your order and immediately refund the account through which you made your purchase.  We will not be obliged to offer any compensation for disappointment suffered. Any typographical or clerical or other error or omission in any sales literature, quotation, price list, acceptance of offer, invoice or other document or information issued by us shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of us.  

General Notes about our Wood Furniture:

  • Our wooden products are made from natural materials, where some normal colour variations may occur. Photographs are for illustrative purpose only.  Some woods will mellow with age and exposure to sunlight.
  • All dimensions specified by us are approximate.
  • The majority of our products are sold fully assembled, however on occasions certain pieces will need minimal assembly, this has been deemed fit to protect the item in carriage/delivery.
  • The wood used in our furniture range is kiln dried. This means that you shouldn’t see any significant change to your furniture’s shape/functioning. It is however important to remember that your wooden furniture is a natural product and as so could be effected if you expose it to extremes of humidity or sunlight.

    Payment:

    • We have thought long and hard about this because we wanted to make sure you can be totally at ease with making an online purchase through ‘Your Stylish Home’. In the end we settled on using PayPal. Once you are required to make your payment you will be automatically taken to the SECURE PayPal site where you can use all major credit cards safely or transfer money from your own PayPal account if you have one. You will then be redirected back to us afterwards. We will forward a confirmation to you so you will know we have received your order. Should in the unlikely event your order is processed through Paypal but you are not redirected back to the Your Stylish Home site, simply contact us and don’t try reordering again.

    Please note that your credit/debit card account is debited immediately.

    Product Reviews:

    • Unless indicated otherwise, when you post content or submit material on our site, you grant ‘Your Stylish Home’ a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media. You also grant ‘Your Stylish Home’ and its sub-licensees the right, but not the obligation, to use the name that you submit with such content. You represent and warrant that you own or control all rights to the content you post or submit; that the content is accurate; that use of the content will not violate this policy; and that the content will not cause injury to any person or entity. You agree to indemnify ‘Your Stylish Home’for any and all claims resulting from content that you submit or post.     Warranties and liability:


    • We will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss of profits or other financial loss or damage arising out of defective, damaged or wrongly delivered products over and above the value of the goods themselves. This does not affect your statutory rights.
    • You have 30 days from delivery of your item(s) to discover any manufacturing fault. See our returns policy for more information.
    • Our guarantee does not cover fair wear and tear and natural characteristics of wooden products; neglect; abuse or misuse of your goods in failing to follow correct care procedures: including the oiling and waxing of furniture; loss or damage due to fire, smoke, water, lightning, sunlight, weather, rusting, corrosion, theft or explosion; accidental damage or loss or damage caused by a third party.
    • If you have any concerns about your item(s), in the first instance contact our customer services department (see contact us page).
    • Insofar as is permitted by law, our only liability to you under these terms and conditions will be, at our sole discretion, to make good any shortage or non-delivery, to replace or repair any goods which are received by you in a damaged or defective state or to refund to you any sums actually paid by you for the goods in question. We will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem you notify to us and will have no liability to you for any failure or delay in delivering goods or any damage or defect in goods delivered which is caused by any event or circumstance which is beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, fire, reduction in or unavailability of power, breakdown of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply, and we shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations. Nothing in this Clause affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
